For any of you there with Windows Vista... Is the R4 compatible with it? Please, don't spam this topic with "lolxvistasukz". If you're on an XP, you'll end up getting it anyways most likely - just ATM the driver support and well.. support in general is rather crappy. Anyways, has anyone tried R4 with a vista?

usb is fully supported in vista, so the microsd reader will work. there is no client software but the lame trimmer. and yes vistasuxkthx

You can't connect the R4 or M3 Simply to the PC at all, so the real question is "is Vista compatible with SD card readers?"

I don't know if it is or not, but I'd certainly hope so.

yes but what we're talking about is a plain microsd card. it's not an mp3 player it's not the r4 cart. you plug in the damn thing like any other OS and drag and drop.

to put it simply...R4 requires NO specific drivers so it should work on any OS that supports USB.

If you are talking about the card reader, then yes it works on vista. I use the card reader on my laptop that has vista in it, never had a problem with the card reader.

exactly. it should work perfectly fine unless vista somehow cannot manage drag and dropping of files to a flash drive. and it had damn well better be capable of that, cause almost 100% of cameras nowadays use some sort of removable flash.
