The CycloDS is actually becoming like a second class card where as the acekard and m3 keep on getting better this is because:
They arent updatin firmware like they used to(Theres still no official COP fix)
They have a boring GUI
Its been one year since they showed us a DSi workin Cyclo vid bit they havent comeup with anything for one year

Face it the Cyclo was good but now with the next generation of consoles and flashcarts its slowy making a move outta the whole DS scene
Acekard 2i And M3i Zero are the current kings and also serve as a good value for money

Like the feature of being able to play a new game while everyone else is waiting for their cart devs to get off their arse and copy the AKAIO's fix.

I don't know why everyone says AK2 is such a great card. M3 Real is better since it has more firmware + features like RTS and RTG. Sure AKAIO firmware may have 100% compatibility, but so does every other card (Eventually). I'd rather pay like $4 more for extra features like real time save/guide, and an active team trying to implement new features all the time

I have both the AK2 and M3i Zero and use my AK2 more. I don't care about any of the features that the M3i Zero has because I don't use it. And I need RTS for some games that I play like Mario and Luigi Bowsers Inside Story, but guess what M3i can't do RTS in that game it doesn't work. I also use my Acekard 2i more because I got a EZ-Flash 3in1 and it has native support for it, unlike M3i Zero where you have to download a patch for the internet browser, and I could play all my Gba games without going into Exlporer(or w/e the name of that homebrew is don't even use it because of AK2.) I personally use my Ak2 also because of the Game fixes and auto updates threw Wifi. I actually started now to use my M3i Zero a little because of the GlobalSettings but now I have weird OPT,CHT,is0 and other weird files on my MicroSD. They should really put all those files into the M3Sakura folder instead of where all your games are in. When M3i Zero makes a Game Fix for one game a different game won't work and they have to update again to fix that. And they update once a month.

@OP you don't need the USB cable to update. Here is a trick you could do if you don't have the USB.


1, Place the “F_core “ onto micro SD .

2, Insert M3i Zero

3, turn on the DS/DSL power & wait …..

Thank you for this thread. I'm buying 5 or 6 flashcarts for my 2 kids, my sister, my sister in law and my girlfriend's 2 cousins and was quite confused on which cards to get. I haven't bought a card since the M3 Simply and Supercard SD. I figure her sister and her cousins will be fine with a DSTT while I want my kids to get the M3 Real Perfect bundles.

I have both an M3i and an Acekard 2i, and I agree with most people here. Acekard seems to be much better. I prefer the UI, have had less problems with the firmware, and it supports homebrew much better than the M3. Also, you don't have to patch every game under the sun with an Acekard.

Honestly people saying the 100% compatibility from acekard isn't very justified.

I wouldn't trade multiple good features (atleast 5 or 6) just so you don't have to wait an extra day for a game you probably haven't even downloaded yet to work. While I'm not saying the acekard is bad, I'm just saying 100% compatibility shouldn't be the only people say about it (there's more to the damn flashcart, for gods sakes it even has wii to ds >.>).

That's all a dedicated gamer needs, pretty much. Make those games and homebrews work out of the box. I don't care about cheats, RTS, RTG and all that rubbish.

Yes but honestly alot of people want to also use their DS for homebrew, music, and to also use the extra features as help (or cheat >.>). It's fine if you don't want it but still if you're using another flashcart you'll probably at most be waiting one extra day for the fix.

After the day I download Professor Layton I only use my M3 now.

Because I need the RTG, now they just need to add a Find button so I don't always have to look for the puzzle #...
