So those of us on 5.3.2 are we going to get a better success rate (updating to 5.5.1) using 5.5.1 exploit + loadiine vs doing the same under 5.3.2? My success rate with 5.3.2 is probably 60-75%, I don't mind going through the trouble of loading the browser up and running the exploit to load loadiine, would like close to 100% success rate though. (I host locally, use wired, etc)

Those using 5.5.1 with exploit hosted locally with loadiine, is your success rate 100%?

Thanks

My success rate is 100%. I get it everytime compared to when I had 5.3.2 and it would probably only load if I was very lucky.

Going to try the other 5.3.2 payload above to see if it is any better for me first before I consider 5.5.1, would like to avoid updating to 5.5.1 incase there is some IOSU in the future that requires 5.3.2.

Also have read a few people complaining about games not loading with 5.5.1 vs 5.3.2.

what website do you use , i mean the host ones to load up kernel/loadiine.

or do you self host ?
i think i should self host, because most hosts from people link goes down after a while.

Homebrew loader was updated yesterday with the latest exploit for 5.3.2+ that doesn't rely on race attacks

https://github.com/dimok789/homebrew_launcher/releases

Hosting the www files will boot HBL with a single click from which you can load other things like loadiine. Not sure why anyone would use anything else

isnt hb loaded the same way loadiine is loaded though? we still need to open the browser, and instead of going into hb why not just straight into loadiine?

i am having terrible success rates loading anything though, either stuck at black screen or cannot find loadiine_gx2 elf, my SD card is a newly bought legit one class10.

but it is the one with adapter i dont know if that is causing the issue.

but what is the success rate of clicking that hosted www files? 100% success rate? if yes, please link me to a guide to self host so i can set it up by my own, thanks in advance!

edit: what is the one click to launch thing though? what do i have to tap to launch directly into hb? kernel10?

You host the contents of the www directory in homebrew_launcher.v1.2_webserver_files_RC3.zip on your webserver. Then just visit the server IP address (eg http://192.168.1.150). It will automatically detect your FW and boot into HBL from there, no need to do anything else

On your SD card: Get the loadiine gx2 0.2 https://github.com/dimok789/loadiine_gx2/releases/tag/v0.2 then replace the .elf file in that release with the latest nightly. You should then have a SD:/wiiu/apps/loadiine_gx2/ folder with an elf, xml and png file in it

Loading right into loadiine is an option (you would instead use the www files from the latest nightly) but I prefer this since it makes it easier to launch other programs like ddd

Is this done with just Apache? Or do I still need to use the .jar server application for 5.5.1?

EDIT: I see you were referring to 5.3.2. My mistake.

I was one of those whom game wouldn't load but those were my fault.
If fact, I am on 5.5.0 and everything worked fine ( kexploit, HBL, Loadiine 0.3 beta) but not the games ( Mario 3D, Ninja Gaiden, ...). The problem the site I download said the games were loadiine ready and were compress into zip file. Lot of people when decompressing archive ( like with winzip, winrar) click on extract in archive_folder_name or in separate folder name if multiple files and that make extra folder which screw up the folder structure. Some games structure are already wrong from the main archive as well.
Right now, I am on 5.5.0 and every single games( about 15-20) is working with a loading time between 1s to 10s so far and 100% success rate of kexploit on self hosting under wamp( xampp where bitching for loading apache on win10)
Now all we need is to be able to backup the Nand software likewise

All the exploits were updated to avoid using Race Attacks, which is what the previous 5.3.2 kernel exploit was using, and the main reason for the failed attempts.
I am using the updated 5.3.2/5.5.1 kernel exploit and payloads in my 5.3.2 machine, and so far I haven't had a single failed attempt at all.

Can you link me to the files you are using i am getting freezes with the exploits payloads i have been using on my 5.3.2

I use www.wiiubru.com
I don't host the files myself, but so far that site has been giving me a good boot rate.
I think you can get the hosted files for that site if you enter it from a PC, there should be an option to download them.
Me sure that you have the files in the SD setup correctly.

Just apache or anything like it. That jar server hax is causing people more problems than anything and you don't need it at all. Not even for 5.5.1. HBL1.2 RC3 was updated with full 5.5.1 support (EUR consoles might have problems still, unsure)
