There is a project in switchbrew with software examples, one of them is irsensor, a Joy-con IR-sensor example that displays the image from the IR camera.

The Joy-con must be detached from the system.

I attached the nro in case you want to try it.

I’d love to have a remote control app similar to what I had on psp once

Honestly been hoping someone would release something like this for awhile now. Just fullscreen it and up the refresh rate.

This, and many other apps like it, have had IR camera stuff for ages. This has been out for over a year.
If anything, all the OP did was take a publicly available nro and "release" it.

Yep, googled right after I replied. Is there a homebrew that's more like the joycon kit on PC? I can't believe no one took the sample and made it fullscreen and updated the refresh rate (guess no one's actually learning from the samples, heh).

neat. Thanks. Too bad none of the stuff there is compiled, it seems. I wonder what other goodies are tucked away in there.

EDIT: Bummer. I'm on 9.2 and it doesn't work. any chance someone smart could get this joycon camera homebrew working?
