Homebrew IPTV on the Wii

Just a random question i had, is it possible to have an IPTV directly on the Wii, like just launching an homebrew app and using the Wii like a traditional TV ?

So far I don't think there are any apps but I remember The Wii House made some sort of video about something like that
This is assuming this is Internet Protocol TV and you're using something like Hulu maybe

IPTV is the means of streaming TV channels over the internet. The people who provide these services are illegally broadcasting them without a license, which is considered as piracy because of it. It's the same as asking for warez, as in downloading copyrighted material.
