If I update my iPod Touch to 4.1, will I lose of my jailbroken apps? I want to upgrade to 4.1 and then jailbreak it with greenp0ison. I'm currently running 3.1.3 jailbroken with Spirit.

Why not go to 4.2.1? Since that is the most recent.

Also, yeah. You will lose them.

No untethered jailbreak for newer devices.

He didn't specify which device he is on.

If he is currently on iOS 3.1.3 then it for sure isn't the 4G.

So it has t be a 2G or 3G.
Please specify, fudgenut.

If you can. Just go to iOS 4.1 at the point. Since iOS 4.2.1 adds nothing to your device.
That's what I planned to do. I want to update to 4.1, but I don't want to lose all of my cracked apps.

There is no avoiding that though.

If you don't wanna lose them, don't update.

If he has Appsync, he can put the cracked apps in iTunes. After he updates, rejailbreaks and installs Appsync, the cracked apps will go back.
