Gaming iPod/iTunes connection

So a friend of mine claims that he does the connection wirelessly... Instead of using USB port he uses he's router for that... Is that possible? How?

For syncing of iPod, No way... Not possible


Something like iPod Touch, has the Remote App that will allow you to control iTunes wirelessly.. And you can connect to the iTunes Store and purchase Music and Apps over Wi-Fi...

Is it possible that he's using an iphone or an Ipod touch?

I don't know if you can use itunes via wifi with them, but i know the other ipods don't have any sort of internet connectivity.

Linux + OpenSSH-server + Jailbroken iPod touch + GTKPod can sync wirelessly.

That is True... I should have clarified in my post above that it would not be possibly without Modifications such as this.

Well I just know that his iPod is the classic one and it is from the year 2005... now the OS he uses is a mystery for me

This is the only thing that I know of that would allow a 5th Gen iPod from 2005 to Communicate Wirelessly..
