Apple iPod Classsic 7 Gen Question

Is there a way for me to play downloaded iPod click wheel games on my iPod Classic 7g of games I do not own? I WOULD BUY THE GAMES IF THEY WERE STILL ON ITUNES! AND I AM NOT ASKING FOR THE GAMES, JUST HOW TO USE THEM. Also, is there a good alterative to iTunes that WON'T wipe my ipod before use.

there is a way, but i don't remember it was a long time ago, i have a ipod touch now, it wasn't easy and i am sure that "exploit" has been closed a long time ago on itunes.
