Hacking iplayer will not load gba games

So here is my problem, i can't get iplayer to load gba games. I have updated to the latest firmware, the emulator is installed correctly, i put the games into the gamepak folder and i put the /ndsgba folder into the /plug ins folder. However the gba games will not load. I am stuck on the loading screen when I try to open the gba.plg file. It will just sit there on the loading screen and the games will never load. What are the reasons that my iplayer will not, or cannot run the gba games.
