Next iPhone was already slated for Sept. 30 preorder and Oct 7 release. We need to know the final name and details about it though.
Don't give a shit about iPad 3, I'm still in a frenzy over those elusive HP touchpads.

They will start to release these damn things weekly before you know it.

I doubt Apple would release the new iPad now.

It's dumb. For 2 reasons:

1: The iPad 2 is still selling like crazy. So they want to make enough money off that.

2: Why replace the current tablet when it's less than 6 full months old? And still great...

It would make sense for Apple to release the next iPad once the current slales slow down. And that won't be soon with the holidays coming up soon. And the hottest item this year will probably be tablets.

So it isn't rumored.

It is a rumour, its pure speculation on the part of the reporter with literally zero evidence to back it up.

All he is saying is that apple will continue on track now that Steve is retiring, that's it. And he is saying we will see the iphone 5 and ipad 3 in the next year purely based on the fact that apple update those devices yearly.

This is not news, and I don't like what some people are doing in USN lately. Posting news with no sources just so they can be first past the post with news and adding sources later.

So I am going to squash that trend as of now, next person that does that will have their thread deleted and will receive a warn for spamming the USN section.
