IOStaging Plugin Removed from AutoPlugin II

In the latest AutoPlugin II, the sole update was the removal of the IOStaging Plugin. But why? I can't find anything bad about it. And it's in use on my Vita. I get alot of crashes but who can say that's even related? Is it no longer a good plugin?

Git issues pretty much covers the reason why it's removed.

Always good to check github/gitlab issue section and commit messages, the removal reasons are usually pretty well documented in either or both.

All I'm seeing is that it was archived. Then again this browser also can't view Github asset fikes for download either

The author took the plugin and codebase down due instability and possible file system corruption issues (twitter messages between him and Rinnegatamante were included in the issue messaging I linked). Due author retiring the plugin at least temporarily, it was also removed in Autoplugin II.

Thanks for clarifying. Maybe I'll crashless by disabling it. For reasons unknown, I'd crash on loading pages in the browser or saving content

Well my Vita hasn't froze since disabling it. Might not even need tbe new PSVSD replacement I ordered either.
