On the post https://gbatemp.net/threads/cave-story-and-1001-spikes-coming-to-nintendo-switch.457993/ there was an screenshot, I decided to analyze it. Lessa go.

First off, themes. at the Nintendo Direct it showed the Nintendo Switch menu, and it was white. This might mean you could have themes.

In the same thread, people were wondering what this was.

EDIT: It seems that this is for screenshots.

There was also this.

EDIT: This might just be Game News, but it doesn't seem to be fully confirmed so i'm going to leave my guess below.
Now Nintendo stated that Miiverse wouldn't be on the switch. But even if that is wrong it's not the Miiverse logo. But from the looks of it, it seems like something similar. There's also a dot on the top right which is most likely an notification indicator. (Also at the direct they said the button on the left there would be an share function, so this probably has something to do with that.)

EDIT: This might be Joycon settings, like syncing, adding players and such.

Now the home menu will be like PS4 or 3DS as we can see here.

There will be users as shown here

Now one thing is that there is a profile picture. So I guess this online system will be really good.

EDIT: I said there might not be Mii's but I was wrong. So there will be Miis but they might no be shoved down your throat.

That's all guys. If you want to analyze anything else or even the same image, feel free to post here.

No Miis.. Wow... I never thought of that, but it might actually be how things are gonna be with the Switch.

First one is picture icon. Probably to view screen shots and what not.
Second red one is messaging. Either for notification and news or messages sent to you from others.
The joy-con icon is for controller setup. pairing and battery info etc...
