I have it installed on my laptop, since I need to make websites at my work that work both on Firefox and Internet Explorer..
Anyway, it's really pretty fast

That's all good and well, but does it still have an ugly, bloated and cluttered interface?

The UI is beautiful.

I'm still staying with Firefox/Chrome here, but I'll test out the definitive version of this IE when it's out.

The 5% is SVG font standards. Its use is supposedly on the decline, so IE/FF have been reluctant to implement it because... People aren't really using SVG fonts. Or so that's what I've read.

If we're talking other browsers than IE, that must mean Firefox is 500% customizable right?

Perhaps it was a bad idea to talk about other browsers.

I should give Internet Explorer 9 a try though.

It's not bad. I think I'll be using this now instead of chrome, its faster for me, looks good, no real problems so far. I haven't used IE since 4.0, way to go MS. Didn't think I'd ever use it again.

I use Windows 7 on my laptop, but i like to keep Windows XP on my desktop PC because it's not the fastest machine in the world.

There are a few addons that are worth using atm, mostly web slices. I'm sure as IE 9 gets a bigger audience with an official release, there will be more interest in addon development.
