Something I put together today: TabbedBrowsing on the 3ds.

Its far from finished but it works great! Right now I'm typing this while reading manga and chatting... on the 3DS

That's pretty awesome.

I'll be sure to add that to my bookmarks although I suppose there would be some slowdown when running multiple tabs. I should make a 3DS-friendly version of my site.

Do you mind if I use the source code to make a modified version of the site for personal use?
It's not going to be distributed elsewhere. Only used to display sites that I visit on a daily basis and to serve as a quick portal on my 3DS.

Also, you can't link to the site until you remove the MangaFox link. Contains copyrighted content.

They had this for the Wii too, but it doesn't work on the 3DS.

I just tried to use the browser to check something in the Samurai Warriors Chronicles FAQ while I was playing the game, but I discovered that there's no way of searching for text within a page. Makes it very hard to find what you want in long FAQs

I haven't seen the system really slow pages down yet. It is designed to be simple and lightweight, so it shouldn't fill the Browser Memory too much. Of course, when visiting a very heavy page, the other pages you are seeing will be slow as well.

Somehow I'm unable to see your link. I get a page saying that your site is 'under admin review'. However, the earlier version of your page I did see, and that one was quite nice. I'm using that one as the homepage of the 3DS Tabbed Browsing right now.


I also created two new features: Favicons now work, and there are some quick links you can easily open no matter what page you are looking at, with things like Wikipedia, a basic IRC client, Gamefaqs and the 3D porch.

I haven't used the browser much, but I think it is pretty awesome.

I didn't expect to have flash or Java, so it isn't a disappointment to me.

Part of html5, a new(ish) html/javascript standard that lets you do some of the same stuff that Flash lets you do but without plugins. Yes, that includes browser based games.

It has no flash, that's a shame. But one fun thing is, you can watch .MPO-files with the browser. I like that

Im loving it.All I use it for is GBAtemp, Goal, Hotmail and eBuddy.All work great.Btw I remember there was a commercial of the eShop showing some Social Networking blog kinda thing with Miis.How do I go about that?
