Gaming Internal HDD for ps3 questions...

1) What is the best internal HDD for a ps3 fat/slim? I was reading some reviews on newegg that some people reported that certain HDDs wouldn't fit into the ps3, although it was a 2.5" SATA.

2) If you were to obtain a HDD, how would you transfer your content so that it would appear as if you never deleted anything, such as cloning it.

3) I need internal HDD recommendations. And no, I don't have a jailbreak or any of those stuff. Just using it for someone's ps3. Also, preferably from Fry's, as my friend isn't all about online shopping, etc.

i have used (and still have) a Western Digital Scorpio Blue 320GB in my old 80gb fat for a while and that was more than enough space for media, game installs demos and so on.

it's only 2.5" sata drives up to 1tb-2tb that don't fit in ps3's i think they are a little bit thicker even though they say they are 2.5" they are not.

a 750GB 2.5" Western Digital Scorpio Blue Hard Drive drive can safely go inside a ps3, anything over that and the ps3 won't take it because of the dimensions.

you can use a ipod classic or a external hard drive with a separate mains power adaptor (usb powered external hard drives cause problems and normally don't work), ipod touch's DO NOT work because they have flash memory in them, just follow the instructions in my video and you are good to go good luck!

you should can't use hdd's with a hight of more than 9.5mm 12.5mm are also called 2.5 but still won't fit in your ps3 without modding
