Hey all. I’ve recently picked up a obscure Wii Accessory known as Ubisoft’s Hercules Webcam (WC04): This accessory is said to be a motion tracking camera for a couple of Ubisoft titles (Your Shape, Fit In Six, and Racquet Sports from what I found), and also serves as a standard computer webcam. I’m curious if it’s possible to get this webcam to run on homebrew software? For instance, a simple app that captures the webcam’s live feed? Please let me know if this is possible. If you’re curious on how to get one yourself, it’s relatively cheap to purchase on eBay. Thank you.

This will create an empty 240p.txt file inside root://ZGX. It will delete it again when you disable it. Known bugs: - Toggling the sound OFF hangs the emulator. - Saves are not working. Position the cursor in slot 000, 001, 002, 003, or 004, press right to go down one page. You will only notice visually if you have your covers assigned. - When you launch the emulator from USB, games/art on the device will be ignored if a SD card is also inserted with the same Z-GX folder structure. SD will be prioritized. - When you launch the emulator from USB, and there is a SD card inserted without the Z-GX folder structure present, it will DSI crash. - 12 seconds pause before the game starts booting, since build 20260811B. - Cover files do not load when you start the emulator from a USB device, yet it will load them if a SD card with the files is inserted before emulator launch. Hacking Interesting modchip problem

Ok so my friend bought a modded Wii while he was oversees but doesnt know what modchip is in it. Is there anyway we can figure this out, short of opening up the system or is there a universal firmware update (that would work with any modchip) that we could get.

And this is an interesting problem because..........? Well I guess you could just try every update out there. My first guess would be to try rewritables and see if they work. Then try a bunch of update discs for different chips (wiikey, etc.).

know the chipset in it. that would be a good start. if its a D2C, a good chance its a D2Ckey modchip. newer released Wii consoles are D2C. search Wii Serial Tracker in Google and input the Wii's serial number.
