Did you buy it used? If so, yeah, you got screwed. I got a regular PS4 bundle that is on 2.51 I believe for the same amount, though I'm also getting buyer's remorse. It'll definitely be easier (but not necessarily easy) to find a Pro console at or below 4.5 versus one at 4.05 or below. And I can't imagine any advantages people on 4.05 will have versus those on 4.5. If anything it's the other way around since people on 4.5 will have more games to play.

Then no, you paid normal price for a new bundle. Could've gotten used consoles cheaper but with the risk of them on an incompatible firmware (or being from a household with pets and/or smoking if that's an issue). I wouldn't return it just yet but if 5.0x exploit gets released then I definitely would and then trade for a Pro.
