The Engadget site has posted instructions following AppDevice's story on planetbeing installing Android on an iPhone 2G.

There is a user-friendly guide on another site, but you'll have to Google for it because of its illegal content downloads.

o: Cool.
I wonder if they'll get this working for any other models.

Great. iPod touch version please :3

Someone on iPtF said that it may not be possible on an iPt due to 'lack of buttons'. The post confused the hell out of me, but I can't say I've looked into it too much.
I hope it can be installed on iPt, though... I want android on my iPt 2G.
No that is not the reason. Doesn't the Ipod touch and the iPhone have the same amount of buttons? Anyways the reason is because there isn't an OpeniBoot for the iPod Touch 2G, iPhone 3G, and 3GS. Those are yet to have get hacked fully for OpenIboot to get installed in it.

Of course, put it on the one device no one has anymore.

There's even more people with a 1G iPod Touch than their are iPhone 2G owners.

That being said, I hope they port this to the iPod Touch...it may take some edits though...
