Hi everyone,
I can't install an xci my the switch. I'm using Reinx firmware, zeroTwo 1.0, and tinfoil 0.2.1. Everytime I try to install it says "Failed to open system file with id. Error code: 0x00234c02". I successfully installed a nsp file so I thought I would just convert everything to nsp use tinfoil to install. I think it's a problem with my keys because it gave me 2 errors when trying to convert it with 4nxci-v1.35_win64.

[WARN]: Failed to match key "encrypted_header_key", (value "...............Number...................................")
[WARN]: Failed to match key "eticket_rsa_kek", (value "...........................Number.................................")

I updated the switch to 6.0 using keplez (I think). I read somewhere that I should just delete the encrypted key, that got rid of the 1 error, but the extracted files would still not install. I deleted the eticket key, but 4nxci would not run.

I'm really stuck on this one, so any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

According to this thread (https://gbatemp.net/threads/switch-hacking-faq-updated.517252/) that error code has to do with the CFW you are using which is lacking actual signature patches (fs_nosigchk). I recommend updating your ReiNX to the latest (it is currently at V1.7) and if that doesn't work, possibly the latest nightly. You can also try using another .XCI installer which is the newly released n1dus.

As for those warnings, they are just warnings; they are not actual errors meaning they can be ignored. The real problem lies in the error code that 4NXCI should be displaying not the warnings.

BTW is there anyway of getting rid of the update nag when I start a game? When I install I've tried the ignore update option, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Try following this:
1. First make sure you cancel the upgrade!
2. Then press the power button and hold for about 5 seconds
3. Choose power off
4. Hold down VOL+ and VOL- and pres simultaneously the power button
5. Choose update but do not update... instead cancel the process!
6. Shut down the console and restart normally

So is just wait for a 6.01 crack is my only option?
reread OP again and if I read your post right, you were on 6.0.0 before accidentally updated to 6.0.1? then it's all good (and no fuses burnt for that matter)
no need to downgrade, 6.0.1 is not much different than 6.0.0 so just use whatever you usually use

was thinking that you were on 4.1.0
