I see now its possible to install Xci's. Is this more, less risky than installing nsp files, can big N pick it up? Less or more of a ban risk?

By "installing a XCI" it's basically converting it to a NSP and then installs it. So no, same ban risk as a NSP.

Yes, there is more of a ban risk than playing offline xci. You must create fake tickets for install.

This isn't true. It extracts the NCA files and installs those. It never creates an NSP.

"Basically" definitely applies here. It's essentially the same thing, but with some caveats apparently. You're still "installing it" like an NSP.

Isn't a NSP just a container for NCA files?

Probably the same ban risk, NSP 100% ban risk...XCI loader 90% ban risk...well i think we all stay full offline so.

Nobody cares about ban since most of us are pirates that play offline anyway.

Did you modify your console software in any way, if the answer is yes then you are at risk of a ban.

Do you mean the OP of the XCI installer, cause if so she was working with adubbz on the installer.

wasn't sure who you were on about XD

But basically, if you mod your console software in anyway, expect a ban is the easiest way to put it

It actually goes out in about 2 hours, but it's been out on the CDN for a while now.

I'm aware it was on the CDN, but we also don't know if they changed it or pushed any small updates to it since then

only difference is it converts the XCI to and NSP then installs it
an NSP is just an xci with a little more info
