Hi Gbatemp.
I really want to get my vwii set up with a HBL installation but I don't have any of the exploit games and letterbomb was destroyed on vWii. Is there any way to use the 5.5.x kexploit to install HBL on the vWii side? In my head it sounds crazy but it's worth asking anyways :D

You need one of the many exploitable Wii games to install the Homebrew Channel to your vWii. There's no other way. You can find a guide here. Many of the exploitable games are as cheap as $2.00 + S&H online, like Lego Indiana Jones.

there is another way,
you can copy it from a REAL wii , using "wii u system transfer" channel from the wii shop .
though , i can't download it , if anyone can link us with a wad file, that would be amazing :'(

Nope you are wrong that will not work as only legitimately bought wii ware and VC bought from the eshop will transfer if it's not registered to your wii eshop account it does not get transferred.

I don't understand why people keep asking silly questions like this..

Like cmon vWii hacking is SUPER easy. If there's a very reliable, almost fail-proof method, why do you want another way?

No not really, when comparing it to vWii to actual Wii hacking it's harder. Some people are not good with save files or something like that. People are used to Letterbomb or other methods without games.

And their is alot you have to compare to Wii to see "Oh installing this will brick my vWii but I can install this on vWii but not my Wii...so on and so on". It can be overwhelming to a person new to vWii.

I suppose so, but I had absolutely no experience with console hacking. I read several guides, asked questions, semi-understood what I was doing, followed @CJB100's guide, and did it flawlessly.

Maybe I'm just good at understanding and following instructions or something, but it was way easier than I expected it to be.

Yeah, a noob should follow the guilds nevertheless. Some person will try to install BootMii weather the guild says to not anyway

I don't think such a thing exists, just use the transfer option in WiiU system settings.

It exists, but it is free from the eShop, and idk if it would work if you force install it via a homebrew.

Can any one link us to a "wii u system transfer tool.wad" file ??? ( the one from the wii side ).

Also, people. Why are you asking for warez? Why do you think this is just a-ok? -smacks hand- stop that.

ALOT of people now days are just asking for warez (mainly for the SDK). To us it's an unsaid rule, we know automatically to follow it. But to n00bs it just doesn't click with them.
