When I run this installer it's kind of confusing to me -> cIOS38_rev13b-Installer.dol my question is what IOS version do I use? it's asking me "Select IOS version to use during installation:" and then it says "NOTE: Custom IOS will be installed as IOS249"

and also what IOS is cIOS36_rev10-Installer.dol installed under? as I have WADcreator1 and would like to make my self a .wad

Here is what I followed to deVirgin my 4.0Menu with this softmod

.::Instructions::.

1. USE AN SD CARD DELETE EVERYTHING ON IT

1. Put the contents of ALL EXTRACT FILES/DIRECTORIES from files "4.0softmod.rar" and "aad1f_v108.rar" on the SD Card!!!

2. Go to Data Management then choose Channels followed by SD

3. Choose "Yes" to load boot.dol

4. LoadMii will then load.

5. Press "A" on the WiiMote.

6. Go down to DowngraderIOS35.dol and run it by pressing "A" on the WiiMote.
Choose downgrade IOS35 and then let it run, then choose exit (ignore the patchmii and dvdx)

7. You'll be back in LoadMii now.

8. Go down and run Wad Manager by pressing "A" on WiiMote.

9. Just select normal settings (don't change IOS)

10. Install IOS35 wad file.

11. Exit Wad Manager by pressing "HOME"

12. You'll be back in LoadMii.

13. Run Wad Manager again, Select IOS35 when it asked what IOS to use.

14. Install the CIOS38 revXX wad file.

15. Press "Home" to exit.

16. Then Run Wad Manager again, Select IOS249 when it asked what IOS to use.

18. Install CIOS36 revXX, your backup launcher & and the HBCvXXX wad files.

19. Restart the Wii and you'll find the "Backup Disc Launcher" and the "Homebrew" Channel has been installed.

rename cIOS36_rev10-Installer.dol to boot.dol
create a folder on the sd card
\apps\cIOS36_rev10\

put boot.dol in that folder
use Homebrew Channel is to install it using Network Mode as IOS249
(Wireless Internet required for this part)

The cIOS parts of these two steps are redundant. Only install one of them as a wad and then if you want rev13b choose IOS249 when it asks.

All Waninkoko's cIOS install over IOS249 so both of those steps would just overwrite eachother. You just need to install one so you have SOMETHING in IOS249 and then run whatever installer of the rev you actually want using IOS249 to do it (IOS35 should work too if you downgraded it but just use IOS249)
