Gaming Installing A .cia File Via A PC

Hello. I was wondering if it is possible to install a .cia file directly to a SD card via a PC, I am attempting to install Monster Hunter Ultimate 4 however it is far to large for my SD to contain both the file and the game any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Alternatively, you can install over the network using FBI and Boop (not Boop 2, that gave me errors but you can try it). It's slower than what @fmkid but it solves your problem of not copying the file onto the SD card.
