Yes any IOS that has the trucha bug (any cIOS has it so use that by convention.)

Installing it as a channel would make it quite not-updateable, since pretty much 5 versions are released every date of it. You should deploy it as a forwarder; then updating would be a breeze.

Yes, get the forwarder and keep the app on your SD card/USB FAT parition. It's much easier that way. Or you could wait for the next stable channel release, bu there's no telling when that will be, plus, the latest revision of it is FAR better than the current channel version.

If I recall correctly, USB Loader GX also stores some settings and game info on your SD card, which wouldn't prevent it from loading but would make you repeat some settings and generally cause confusion... it's really just much easier to run it as a forwarder whenever possible.

Yes, and you don't have to only store these settings on your SD, you can put them on USB too, but still, you'd have to have an SD and/or USB fat partition either way if you want it to save settings, load covers, and load themes.
