Hacking Install legit CIAs on 2DS

Hi,

we got my nephew a Nintendo 2DS Mario Kart Bundle as a Christmas present. I wonder if it is possible to install a couple more legit CIA Games on the console before giving it to him.
After that the games should be usable the same way as the Mario Kart which comes on it, so he doesn't has to use cfw or anything like that and is able to update the console regularly.

I have the two Gateway cards for my new 3ds, so I could use those setting it up. But my nephew will use the 2DS without Gateway or anything like that.

Is that possible? If so, what would be the easiest way to accomplish that.

Pretty sure this is easy work. Grab the Gateway Launcher from their site and stick it on the 2DS SD Card, along with any Legit CIAs you want to install. Then, put DevMenu.3ds on your Gateway card Micro SD. After that, boot Gateway via the browser, load DevMenu and install all the games.
