Hello braders, hope everyone is good !

I've been modding my switch and currently have it running with all the goodies i need. What program do you guys recommend to inject the payloader thru an Android phone? I´ve heard that some programs can damage the battery because it sends more voltage to the nintendo switch, is this true? I´ve NXloader installed but i'm afraid to use it because of this

Thanks everyone, good times :grog:

I can't believe your phone has the power to damage your switch.
Just look at the voltage the nintendo charger delivers, your phone won't top that.

This was the video mentioning it:

I also find hard to believe...buut, you never know :D

I always use my phone to inject.. think I use something called nxinjector I’ll update this when I double check

Edit - it’s NXloaderRB that I use, never let me down and easy to use

I thought it was the other way around and the switch could damage the phone battery? (As opposed to damaging the switch)

Anyway my real question.

I use a xaomi Poco X3 Android phone with nxloaderRB. It works great apart from my USBC cable only works one way. Is this normal?

I've marked one end for the switch... But I'm thinking I need a new cable? Anyone know?

It doesn't damage either. When in host mode the phone's USB will provide 5V with a current <500mA, not enough to damage either device.

I use a Samsung C to C cable and it works fine both ways, I think its recommended to use an OTG adapter and an A to C cable though.

I don't see why that'd make any difference. It may just be otg cables are quite common especially on micro usb phones.

I can't see it would, but thought it worth a mention as it does state it on the rekado github.
