Hacking Injected GBA games wont save

I've got Link To The Past GBA on sysnand and Emunand and when I launch it it works, but the save files are corrupt and wont save. I've tried my own footer and the footer from linkmaan that he confirmed to be working and I still can't save. Could this be an issue with my 3DS not running them properly? I have an old 3DS with 4.2 sysnand and 10.0 emunand.

Have you tried another game? I haven't had any trouble with any of the games I've tried yet (I've only tried 3 though... I need to install more lol) maybe try reinstalling the AGB_firm? Otherwise not really sure what could be wrong

that's a known issue for pokemon games, this most likely not the same as OPs problem (he can try it too if he wants though)
