wtf this game is lame... my first time playing an SRPG . I'm already stuck right after i got past the void gate... shits way too difficult for me.

maybe if you are used to pokemon type of games... this game does not have a low learning curve, but it is still one I find to be reasonable

No i meant right after i got past the void gate and tried to go to the planet to the left, i was attacked by these ships that i could not escape from and ive tried fighting them atleast 10 times and always lose...

That's because you did not make full use of what you are given at the start of the game, use Kira as First Officer, then you can heal in battle. Time dodge correctly to avoid the brunt of enemy attack, the rest is just a matter of attrition. The 3 enemy ships can only take out at most half of your flagship by Normal attack when you are on Dodge, but you can already take out one of them with a well-timed Barrage from your 2 ships

What Arkansaw said is the key to any battle in Infinite Space. You don't really need Kira's ability , especially since putting her as First Officer makes your leadership stat take a big hit, and that means reduced Command Gauge replenishment speed. Put Nia Lochlain there (until you find someone better).

This is how I usually attack against a group of 3 ships:

1) Move your fleet forward, get within weapons range for all your ships (and I mean all weapons) and fire "Normal" at the ship at the front row. There is a good probability that it will go boom.

2) If you're early in the game, your Command Gauge will probably replenish slowly , so go backward beyond enemy weapons range and wait for yours to hit red. Else, fire one more normal shot and retreat.

3)Now that your gauge is red , hit Dodge and move forward. By this time, the enemy fleet's gauge should be at red too. 8 times out of 10 they will fire a barrage at you when you get within range.

4)Once you've avoided their barrage , open up with a barrage or normal shot. You should be able to get two normal shots off since your gauge was already at red (even counting the Dodge move).

5)Repeat from 2.

Hm.. I guess I messed up. I thought we could only use 1 ship at a time so i only bought one blueprint back at that wherever place.

You will get 2 ships (or rather, have 2 of them in the fleet, what you bought plus Daisy) after a bit more progress along the storyline. If you only have 1 ship and encounter ambush with 3 ships, you will need Heal. Once you take any damage you need to pull back, wait for the CG to fill nearly completely, so that you can Heal (Special 2) and Dodge right after it. Probably needs 2 or 3 Barrages to take out one enemy ship, and always attack the ship in front

i played with me think i'd delete it after a few minutes but just after 2 hours this game got me addicted, i am at 6 hours now! Thanks for making me forget to finish Miles Edgeworth, Sega.

I played a few minutes of it and I have to say that I found it kinda boring. Not only that, it seems to have more plot holes than Chrono Cross...the battles weren't very difficult, but it just didn't hold my attention. Maybe I'll try again when I'm not so tired.

Lol plot holes.

I don't know about plot holes but im around chapter 6 and finding it hard to keep going. Its one of those use a guide to play it games, or you miss out out lots of crew members.

At this point im forcing my self to play this game, I feel like im repeating the same things over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and... wait was I repeating my self?

Any ways its a good game and I like it, it just seems very repetitive all the planets are looking the same now as well as the ships. Which take so long to get new ones my old ones end up better than the new ones?
