i am up , because i wanted to finish watching Inception .
what can i say , it was a great movie , and to me , had a great soundtrack as well .

i don't know why people said it was such a pain to understand . maybe it's because they watched it at the movies and i was watching on my computer where the "reverse" button existed :3 .
although it did exist , the time i used it the most was near the end .

i couldn't get the ending right . who the hell that old guy was , why he ended up at the beach , but Wikipedia saved that confusion .
saying that he was talking to the Asian guy so that he could remember their goal , and the fact that the world he was in was not real .

though i read this after i finished the movie , the ending was pretty well though

.
by spinning the top, then fading out without us seeing whether the top stops or is still spinning .
after that , you just know that they want you to think that it really is an Inception xD .

i myself , haven't been a fan to watch movies . there were lots that come , but most are just crappy . this on the other hand , was a great movie , i'd rate it a 7/10 for confusion if i watched it at the movies , but since this is the first time i watched it , and pretty much got the plot , i'd give it a solid 9/10 . the reason being , is because there were many times where they sounded as if they were whispering , then i'd turn up my volume and then BAM some loud thing happens and scared the shit out of me xD . not just that , even when there's complete silence and they're just looking around , then BAM , they step on something and it cracks or someone is just there !

I watched it at the movies and didn't understand the confusion people experienced. If you just payed close attention to the flow of events and the info granted through the script, it all made a lot of sense even on a theater viewing.

It was a really incredible movie though. It deserves the praise it received.

It's a fantastic film. My second favorite of 2010. The thing is though, it's one of those movies where, if you miss one line, or one minute of the movie, your fucked.

But this sums it up pretty good:

i can guarentee you , the reason for those who couldn't understand was because they had to go to the washroom or were talking with their friends, and by them talking to their friends , it caused the friends to not understand as well because they were being talked to and bothered xD .

it's true , miss one line, or anything , and you won't understand a thing . maybe it's just me , i caught on quickly to the story , and understood the concepts they were saying . it's good that i paid attention , but because of this movie , i couldn't finish some of my hmwk

Not hard to understand at all just pay attention to the basic principles at the beginning and your fine the whole way through maybe I just think like Christopher Nolan though.

I watched it a couple of nights ago and I really, really enjoyed it. I usually don't rate that Leonard Capricorn chap but not even he could spoil it. I didn't find it confusing at all although I imagine you could easily lose the plot if you weren't paying attention.

I remember people saying the same about Twelve Monkeys when that was first released but that didn't confuse me either. It's also another film I really enjoyed.

now that i finished Inception, i am up for another movie .
any genre but horror + suspense . i am considering Legion or The Book of Eli , and possibly the Last Airbender [although i heard it was really bad , i really want to watch it to see what it is so i could compare it to and have my own personal judgment] .

I didn't like The Book of Eli all that much and The Last Airbender will leave you feel like you were betrayed and stolen from by the director. It's nowhere as good as the anime series and the acting is horrible. Didn't watch Legion, but heard some good comments from a friend.

These are the movies I downloaded recently that you should definitely check out:

Back to the Future trilogy (I've never seen the movies until this year)
Buried
Easy A
Shutter Island (Not the greatest film, but a good time waster)
The Social Network

The rest of the movies I have are a couple years old.

Inception wasnt really that confusing

Maybe the first scenes were, when they were in Saito, subconcious, and the scenes are jumping back and forth to reality, 1st and 2nd dream level( and limbo). And that's because you dont know anything yet. But once they explained the basics, It wasnt that hard to follow.

@post above me
Shutter Island, had a boring start, but the ending was a nice twist.
Social network, eh.

Back to the Future is an amazing trilogy. You'd be doing yourself a favor by watching it.

Buried is about an American who was kidnapped (Ryan Reynolds) and was put into a coffin for ransom. He is buried with a blackberry, a lighter, and a pen. The whole movie takes place in a coffin, and everybody else who talks, you just hear through the phone. It was surprisingly good, and the ending had me a bit surprised. It was in theaters earlier, I don't think it's on DVD yet, but there's a DVD rip on the net.

Shutter Island isn't confusing at all. If anything, it's a bit disappointing, but ridiculously easy to follow.

The Social Network is a phenomenal film as it's basically a story about Mark Zuckerberg and how the creation of facebook came to be. Some parts, Mark said himself, are fake, but a lot of it is true. And Jesse Eisenberg does a phenomenal job.
