I would happily donate to a dev who does some donate worthy work, but I highly doubt that you're going to be able to round up a bunch of people off here to pay someone to do something illegal...

For most devs it's not about the money it's the fact that they were the first to put it out and the recognition that they did it.

for some devs you can already donate their work, but you have to think about the point that some ppl dont do it full time and in development some drawbacks take some time

so if you pay for them they maybe wont do it faster

and then the problem who gets what part of the money and how much gets lost when we spend to one person that will distrubute the parts of money corruption is a problem in this time

so i donated already to dimok and will see to who else soon

If anything i would donate after exploit is released, or whichever CFW really fascinates me the most, other interesting homebrew like retroarc which basically lets you play all the old systems i grew up as a kid playing are donation worthy!

I've never donated before anything was released, but have donated plenty to finished releases

Wake up, jesus christ. There's so many better things to invest in than devs, especially seeing the shitty behaviour of some devs, which I'm not calling out for reasons.

There's also bounties. That's what's mostly used in smartphone bootloader unlocks and such. Place a bounty for an exploit, devs have to work hard to claim the bounty.
