Do you know if is there a way to import my wii u virtul console save data of xenoblade chronicles into the switch's definitive edition?

I would say highly unlikely. You want to import a save from a Wii game that plays on Virtual Console of Wii U on the Definitive Edition (not even the same edition) on Switch, odds are like a million to one that's possible.

It is possible but you have to look at the save data of both the Wii U VC version and the Switch Definitive edition via hex editing tool such as HxD.

This is both impractical and pointless. No developer would waste their time on this. Just play the Definitive Edition as it is, there's a bunch of gameplay improvements and new features that make it vastly different from the original.

I'm guessing you want to do this as a means of getting to the new story content right away. Your best bet would probably be to try and make some cheats using Edison to give you Infinite HP, Max Level, one hit kills, etc... then plow through the game avoiding most of the enemies and skipping the cutscenes. I bet you could get through it in like 5 hours.

New story content is available at start. So no need to speedrun the game for it.

To be honest I would LOVE to be able to import my 3ds save somehow simply to start a newgame+ and use the True Monado that can only be used on newgame+ because I never did that or killed all the Endgame NM Enemies and also missed some timed exclusive quests ect. I don't know if this mean anything but I'm pretty sure I heard that the file structure is similar in Xenoblade 1, X and 2 to the point where save editors were easy to create for x and 2 because of a already existing save editor for Xenoblade 1 Wii. I might be completely misremembering that though but I'm pretty sure it was something like that...
The only other alternative would be for someone to share a save file with the main game beaten and ready to start up newgame+.

Monster Hunter X supported importing the 3DS save to the Switch edition. It's a shame that Xenoblade doesn't.
