Hacking I'm wondering

Ok so I came up with a new idea,

If someone with 3.55 OFW or 3.55 CFW installed, copy all the files from the harddisk -> uploads it to the internet and then other people (like me hehe) download this and put this on their harddrive. Can they run the jailbreak?

I don't know if this has suggested before, please do not bite my head off i'm just trying to help.

first you need facts to "help", please read the faq on jailbreaking in the ps3 section.

the jailbreak tricks the ps3 into running a backup game, the faq can explain it way better than I.

so going back to your question, no.

PCs CAN NOT READ PS3 HDDs

ps3 HDDs and linked to the ps3 they are FORMATTED on

the MAIN Part of FW is FLASHED to the PS3 (a chip in inside the ps3)
