Hacking Im VERY outdated please help me pick a new flash CART!

Ok, well i pretty much havent touched my ds for a couple of years because i got an ipod touch and that became my new thing...
well with the new pokemon game out i decided it was time to brush off the dust from my drawer and find my ds and my flash cart.
Well the problem is.... the stuff i have is old... really old, and i dont think ill be able to run the new pokemon game on the flash cart. correct me if im wrong...

I'd say get a Supercard DStwo. Either that, or an Acekard 2i if you're on a budget.

Yup, if you want something completely future proof, go for Supercard DStwo.
It can play DS rom releases even on day one, without flaw 99% of the time, no other flashcart can say that for the DS.

Mind you the DS is nearing it's retirement anyway.

I have my reservations about the iEvo. I have all the currently popular ones and the iEvo is definitely not at the top of my list.
In order from best to worst, my recommendations are (among the flashcarts that I own):

1. SCDS2
2. AK2i (running AKAIO)
3. R4i Gold (running Wood R4)
4. EZFlash Vi
5. iEvo (by far the worst build quality out of all my flashcarts)
6. M3i0 / M3DSR (the support for M3 Sakura has been abysmal as of late)
7. R4 (running Wood R4, same as R4i Gold except it doesn't support MicroSD cards over 2GB)

Spot on. I own the exact same list and have the exact same thoughts. Basically with a SCDS2 you can't go wrong. Go for it. EVen though its pricetag is monstrous, it's an amazing little device.
