Honestly, had I known I wouldn't have made the joke. The last thing I want is to offend anyone. I just found the coincidence with the name amusing.

Its cool I knew it was an innocent mistake so no harm done :).

Not gonna lie, I never made a NAND back up either. Mostly cause my system is the black one with 32GB storage and Needing a bigger SD card than the white 8GB one. But I usually would backup, just incase I wanted to test anything that seem risky. :ninja:

I was lucky enough to buy kirby mass attack from eshop during a sale one christmas. Played it about 14 minutes before calling it a waste of time and money. But it turned out that game could be use for haxchi. So now it wasn't a total waste of money. (Still total waste of time playing). I also make sure when I ever install channels, is always on the usb HDD first.

Though, I'm sure loads of people can just get a discount on eshop ds games, with their totally worthless nintendo reward coin... nope. No, now there are all only 3DS stuff you can get with it. Oops. How many times has nintendo tried to make this reward system work?

you only need the slc.bin partition (528MBs) from before cbhc or just the opt.bin after. if you have the otp.bin from after, you can grab the nand with a teensy and decrypt it and use nandcbhcremover to fix it.

Yeah i never really backed up my nand mostly because the game of my choice for Haxchi was Brain Age, even if i went on a DS piracy spree my system would be fine because who in the right mind would pirate something like Brain Age?

it would be easy to fix it so this problem doesn't happen. fake tickets don't look like legit ones. they contain a repeating pattern where user information is recorded. should always install and text haxchi first just in case something is wrong, even with a legit install.
