Okay, so I've seen some pretty good ports of PC Games to DS (Doom, Quake was good too) And I wanted to make one of a childhood favorite of mine (Although I never got to play the full version... just freeware) So I wanted to port Jazz the Jackrabbit. I figured, this game is old enough... maybe I could learn to code for the DS... So... My question is this.

Does anyone know how I would start? As in... I literally know NOTHING about coding... but I've always wanted to start... but never knew where to turn for help. Well, I'm still kind of new to this site, but everyone seems so helpful, so I figured this was a good place to ask around. Can anyone help me?

I guess you could port it like GPF did to Duke 3D and port the GP2X port of OpenJazz. (The DS and GP2X both run on the ARM9) It would be slow as hell without voodoo, and porting != first project ever.
