Gaming I'm looking for a game that...

has different equips that you can see in the world map or something. Like in Dragon Quest: Sentinels of the Starry Skies and Avalon Code. Any suggestions guys?

Turn-based game? Well, I think Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates? Just that I'm not sure if you can view the world map though.

Technically you can kind of see it on FF 4 Heroes (your sword, or shield and whatnot), then there's ragnarok DS (you can actually see what hat you're wearing, I think) and... Uh, man, i can't seem to remember much else.

I was assuming you only meant RPGs...
If you mean any kind of game... Then, perhaps try the Sims 3.
