I've had many great years on SMWCentral as a prolific hacker under the name Gamma V. Now I feel like the culture of SMWC has left me behind. I'm a traditionalist hacker, meaning that I try to make my hacks feel like official installments in their base games' franchises. In the case of Super Mario World hacking, that means my hacks are designed to feel like they could pass for real Mario games, even to the point of having similar difficulty. Sadly, the new culture of SMWC seems to almost frown upon such hacks, instead favoring overly gimmicky hacks in the vein of Janked Up Mario Party, as well as Kaizo and Pit hacks. I don't have the highest tolerance for typical ROM hack difficulty and appreciate hacks that keep their difficulty sane, like Super Mario Bros. 3Mix and Sonic Megamix 4.0b.
Outside of ROM hacking and gaming, I'm a huge Transformers fan. I have a collection that's pushing 150 toys, as well as several DVDs of the shows and movies, including complete collections for Generation 1 and Beast Wars. I actually annoyed at least one SMWC user with Transformer talk.
