The new update came out earlier and I cant get it because every time I try it gives me an error and says "An error has occurred. Unable to update. The system will now be restarted."

does the system crash or anything? you may have to do a ctr-NAND transfer if something is corrupted.

  • Are you using Luma CFW on your console (if yes, what version do you have)?
  • What exactly firmware version has actually your console?
  • Console is well conected to the internet?
  • Power energy of your (battery) console is enough?
  • Are you using some special DNS on the console (or a VPN, a Proxy server, or any kind of firewall, etc.) that perharps can be blocking access to Nintendo servers?

PS: It would be better if you put an image or a video of the exactly error screen

Im using luma 10.2 though I have tried it upgraded and downgraded.
11.13.0-45U Current Firmware version.
Yes, it says it was at least.
On the charging cable.
Im using auto-obtain but I have also used the 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 method
also I have a custom font if that means anything

Can you enter to the web browser of your console and navigate normally? And connection test on WiFi settings is sucessfully?

On the other hand, how about if you try to update using the Safe Mode (that is, pressing the combo L+R+A+Up on boot)?

And it would be better if you use the latest Luma version (10.2.1). And only have marked/activated the "Show NAND or user string..." option on the Luma's config menu (in case that you don't have it like that).

PS: Dunno about if custom font could be a cause of that problem. But is possible that it affects, after all.

The internet browser on my 3ds is broken because I saw it in gm9 and dumped in a cia and installed of some reason and then I deleted the title from fbi and accidentally deleted the ticket.

Safe mode update does the same thing.

I did update luma and only turned on show nand string and it still didn't work.

Perharps you must think on perform a CTRTransfer (having on account that you have touched/messed-up the system itself) and later try to update normally.

PS: Before to try with that, make a backup from your your NAND (through GM9) and your SD content (copying all actually files and folders to a PC or another storage device).
