Hacking Idiot friend

Soft modded my friends black wii a few weeks ago. First thing I told him when I gave it back to him was not to do any updates. Low and behold the retard slammed a copy of SMG2 in and updated from the disc.

When the HBC is opened everything now goes black.

How oh how can I get it back to seeing the HBC thus allowing me to fire games up from my USB

Am I able to just follow the 4.2 guide and effectively resoft mod it or do I have to virginize it then re perform the soft mod?

It is still on 4.2, right? So redo the 4.2 mod

You should have used priiloader on your friend's wii to block any kind of update. I have a friend of mine that no matter how many times I explain to him the same things he doesn't get it so I have to take the requirement precautions just in case.
