how about an app like psptube (for psp) which gives you a nice interface for searching and streaming vids from youtube, google vid, dailymotion, etc etc etc...

Why browse the internet on your Wii ?? What you are using right now to post isn't adequate ??
Why would I ever want to connect to IRC from my Wii, it's not even a portable system.

CPS1 and 2 emulator. And there is so many open games on linux that just awaits to be ported man.

Nexuiz for exemple would be nice.

Already exisy, it's called WiiCrazy Intro: either loads a custom picture with mp3 or a movie instead of the regular HealthScren, then
A -> SM
B- > HBC
D-pad -> 4 more apps of your choice:

I know that, thats why I contributed the idea of making something to read cd's.

They said softmod backup loading was impossible > they said gamecube backup loading was impossible... u cant rule it out with talented coders.

I recon wanins latest dvd tool is going to overcome a lot of barriers.

You would have to change the DVD drive for one which supports DVD AND CD. You can't softmod that

Running up from zero or down from preset time.
Pause function.
Choice of silent or tick.
Alarm. Set at zero, preset time or at set intervals (eg: every x minutes alarm for y secs)
Attractive large display and intuitive to operate.
