ROM Hack [Idea] Smash Retexturing Project: Make Smash look great again!

Simply put, the Wii U textures look so great on the 3DS. I had an example with Cloud and Fox, though I did not make them. I also cannot do anything since Ohana always seems to throw an error upon clicking in the app. Hence, it isn't a request, but an idea. Should we make this happen?

I say yes, go for it! But if you get a C&D letter from Nintendo, it's in your best interest to just ignore it and keep the project alive. (Don't be a pussy like the guy that shutdown the Twilight Princess retexturing mod)

It's been done before. I would upload converted Fox textures, but they aren't mine.

The textures of the 3DS version of SSB are downscaled because the 3DS has less RAM memory and the GPU is less powerful.
What does it mean?
Well, in an area where there are lots of 3d models and then lots of textures, if the latter are not compressed (ETC1 compression = poor quality), the system will crash.

Would be cool but not only the textures...the audio must be in better quality as the Wii U (or brawl).
The audio quality sucks in the game...but with the Wii U quality...would be an AWESOME game!
It would be possible for the new 3ds.

There's nothing wrong with the audio, it's the same quality.
There is also no problem with RAM. They are completely different textures, probably to fit the 3DS's realistic look and the Wii U's cel-shaded look.
Anyway, just posting a concept of what it would look like.
