So I had vitashell corrupt on me a few weeks ago and deleted my 120gb micro sd down to 2 something gb. Anyways I was able to get vitashell running back but now I didn’t even have id.dat anywhere and rebuilding database doesn’t bring it back. I was able to bring back id.dat back to ux0 and after installing the registry.vpk which for some reason installs on imc0 the imc0 went there which I deleted. Then after a few reboot it was in the uma0 folder. I deleted it from that folder and now it’s nowhere. What’s going on. Is some config.txt file somewhere corrupted or messed up? Everything else is fine mc but due to that id.dat missing, everytime I boot up the vita it rebuilds database and the picture app deletes all pictures and just has it hidden in ux0 picture folder.

Before you do anything, I'd backup your user/ folder with all your saves. Also resavedata/ if you have it.

Also any emulator saves you might have in data/.
And PSP data in pspemu/PSP/.

are you sure the id.dat is missing? if you look on windows, you have to uncheck: "hide protected operating system files."
