    mkdir -p /media/disk-1/00000001/00000024/v1042/

    That's for Linux.

    Windows might be something like

    mkdir SD:/00000001/00000024/v1042/

Replace /media/disk-1/ or SD:/ with your SD location.

make a folder called 0000001 or what ever...

then inside that folder, make a folder called 00000024 or whatever...

then INSIDE THAT FOLDER, make a folder called v1042...

THEN PUT ALL YOUR DOWNLOADED FILES INSIDE THAT 3RD FOLDER!

so, you have 3 folders, and they are all inside one another.

or if your still haveing problems...

on your desktop, make a folder called v1042... put all the downloaded files in that folder...

create a folder called 00000024 (or however many 0's go in it)... then put the v1042 folder inside the new 00000024 folder... then make a folder called 00000001 (agian, how ever many 0's you need), then put the 00000024 folder INSIDE the 00000001 folder. Then, put that 0000001 folder on your SD card root... so if your SD card in your computer is drive F:, you'll put it on F:\... no other folders.... just right on the main card....

now, if you still can't figure it out, give up, turn off your computer and wii, take them back to the stores you bought them from, and ask for a refund, because you have no idea what your doing, and are unable to use the equipment.

Apple didn't start the `i` trend, Intel did.

Old Intel Processor: i186 (probably things lower than i186, too)
    Newish Media Player: iPod

SD card is formatted to fat12.

Not trying to be a dick, but if you can't make new folders, You have a lot of reading to do before attempting anything on your wii without bricking it.

You should hang around here and read some threads until you get a better understanding of things.

    There's a fat12 filesystem?

Funny, I thought the most common fat filesystems were fat16 and fat32.

EDIT: There IS a fat12 filesystem, but it was the original release. You'll see little to no uses of it now.

Although it was a somewhat tongue-in-cheek post, the first question was genuine if anyone would care to answer it.

Fat12 is standard for small old sd cards like 16mb or 32 mb I recall. Someone had trouble in a thread not too long ago using an old card, I forget which size but marcan told him it was probably in fat12, make sure to format to fat16 or it won't work. Could explain the size error too, might not be enough room on the sd card to expand temp files which was also in the thread.

I have a memory for the most random shit, I swear.
