Hi i'm interested now in installing nsps what should i do to not get banned?
Dump my nand before and then never go online until i want and restore the nand?
or it's useless and i just better use it like i use xci's games

also anyone got banned yet?

I'm good 2 weeks on SX OS ofw for game backup updates and flip back and offline again. Checking everyday. No nsps. No romfs. No log wiping. No playing backups online.

If you have a clean nand backup... maybe you'll be safe after restoring it. If you already have a nand with traces of any modding... probably wont't help.

if you care to get banned, why are you doing this? are you scare to get banned? what happen? be a man and do what you like to do and dont matter if you get banned.

If you install nsp's and go online regardless of clearing logs you will be banned, there is absolutely no way around this now.

What joy there is in a thief that rushes towards the cops to be caught? If you want to be a real thief and do sneaky things, you gotta accomplish them and still be able to laugh at the authorities.

Yes, and you know that how, exactly? Do you know if Nintendo checks for the titles you have installed?

Yes, we know exactly what is reported to Nintendo, you can read Scires's many reddit posts on the subject. All installed titles, are reported, and every time u insert a cart that is also reported.

If you look at what are included in error reports alone, you would understand the scale of data collected:

What the fuck... That list is huge!
*thinks about getting a second switch just for hacking*

Yeah, it's a lot. If Nintendo wanted to ban everyone running homebrew they could. There are a dramatic amount of ways, e.g: You have emunand, and change the size to something smaller / larger than 32gb. NandTotalSize would then report that u are using a "Illegal" value, and boom you are banned.

A lot of things need to be considered, hence why all the devs discourage using Hekate, or other non release AMS related stuff. Even TX say you should not install nsp's unless you want to be banned.

At any time you decide you want to start getting into the modding scene....whether it be homebrew apps, custom themes, icons, etc or full blown piracy, be aware that you are at risk of ban. There is no 100% "fool proof" way of staying unbanned. If don't ever go online, then you shouldn't be worried about getting banned anyway. People that are banned, can still update games, they just can't play online and probably can't access eShop (heard mixed reports). I remember PS3 CFW where people were clearing logs, etc, but they still got banned...however, I didn't clear my log EVER and it took me damn near 5 years to finally get banned (was using that hack since you had to have a dongle plugged in). Yet, people that were clearing logs and all that were getting banned much quicker than that. If you mess with homebrew, etc...you are putting yourself at risk...PERIOD

Well, thats just how people said before, if you install any game through nsp, you WILL be banned sometime. At least for now theres no solution to playing online without being banned
