Hacking I think my wii died

evry time i try to load a game from the disc channel i get a black screen that says please turn off console and see manual and we i try to load from the backup launcher i get dvd read error 349

somebody please help

do you have starfall installed, It almost sounds like your laser has went bad, Or you have recently installed starfall used the update block and then deleted all your IOS's. Trust me its one of the two

i have starfall but what do you mean used update block? im on 3.2U and i was last playing wii fit which has 3.3 so could that be the problem?

more than likely your laser is going bad can you still boot ORG WII games, and pay no attention to what i said in my other post

no i get an error and have to restart the wii. is there some way i can fix this or would i have to replace the whole thing?

This same exact thing happened to me. AFAIK, you're gonna need to send it in to Nintendo for repairs. The laser's probably broken.

so its probably a good idea to uninstall all homebrew right? what ios are on the wii by default so i can uninstall them or can i just leave them there

As long as you get rid of any obvious stuff like custom channels, you should be fine.
