i need some help update psp

my psp is 6.20 Pro B-10 now.
İ tried every solution to update my psp try the unistall cfw and update and its says data is corrupted IDFXXX error then i tried connect usb cable it stuck on please wait.Maybe wlan will work and tried wlan it didnt connect my router.i dont know what can i do is my psp bricked i guess i have 300x please help me

you are trying to install a firmware that is not supported by your PSP, the systems have a minimum firmware that is based on when they where manufactured.
What firmware are you trying to install? have you tried just using chronoswitch to install a clean 6.20 then update from there?


EDIT: a quick search brings up issues with 3k systems that have been downgraded to 6.20, if this is the case it can still be fixed but it just needs a little extra work.

btw i tried install 6.20 ofw with chronoswitch but it giving same error.

From what I can find this pre downgrader might be able to fix it?

From that only use the pre downgrader then use your chronoswitch since its a more updated version then whats included in that download.

If i understand it right the PSP was downgraded to far down so it has issues changing firmware.

that program then chronoswitch to install 6.61 or something, if you can get it to install any clean firmware then it should be possible to do normal updates from there

@fate6 i finally made it man lol xd i write the sloutions.

Wlan on PSP is not of much use now. You would need to "downgrade" your router security to WPA instead of WPA2. It is not very recommended.

A lot of routers merge WPA and wpa2, so it can use both with same passcode.

one option you have is a hotspot with your phone, if it has the option.

you can also make a hotspot with a computer. I don't know how well it works though.
