I need help with my sav file!

I have a sav file of pokemon fire red. I normally tranfer it from myboy on my phone to no$gba on my pc and vice versa just fine. I recently update my version of no$gba and the sav file is now extremely small and myboy won't recognize it. I've tried to get other emulators on my phone and pc to recognize it and they won't, only no$gba will. Any help is appreciated!
