I don't what games you can play on your ps vita from your ps3 or what software to get for your ps3

run the game the supports cross controller on the PS3
on the vita open remote play bubble and pick cross-controller in the live area menu
follow the on screen instructions that is shown on the vita

i think VERY VERY few games work, maybe just LBP2

cross controller is NOT use the vita as a PS3 controller

think of it like GBA working with the GameCube (ie tingle tuner in zelda:TWW)

This is a list of Cross-Controller-compatible games:
Little Big Planet 2 (only with Vita DLC)
Guacamelee
Marvel Vs Capcom 3

Yes, this list is complete. There are no other games that support Cross-Controller. Cross-Play and Remote-Play are different things though, but the compatibility lists for those are still pretty small.

Seems like wasted potential here....i had the same problem tryin to connect every game with cross/remote controller to no avail

$ony sucks :(

Street fighter x tekken supports it, but that game sucked in my opinion
Actually, it doesn't. The 'Vita as controller' feature in Street Fighter X Tekken doesn't use the Cross-Controller feature but instead requires connectivity with the Vita version through Cross-Link.

The PSVita was released a year ago - how many games did you expect to work with this entirely new feature? Moreover, most games require the use of L2, R2, L3 and R3 buttons/triggers which the PSVita doesn't have and using a button combo is just awkward so the games that work with Cross Controller need to be specifically crafted for this purpose. ;)

L2, R2, L3 and R3 buttons
are on the vita

on the back touch pad
top left section=L2
bottom left section=L3
Top right section=R2
bottom right section=R3
[L2--R2]
[L3--R3]

And that's very comfortable, of course. The lack of tactile response of any kind plus no leeway on the pressure sensitive L2/R2 triggers does help, uh-huh. ;)

Well the way $ony touts the vita as the End-all-Be-all portable u would think they would try harder to actually make these features USABLE to the customers......Really none of my Friends have ever mentioned this at all

As it stands today, it is the End-all-be-all portable on the market - you won't get better hardware at that price point and the games are croping up. Slowly, but croping up everyday. The PSVita was not crafted with the PS3 in mind - it's a console that's meant to interact with the PS4, and if what we know so-far is to be believed, it will support all of PS4's games via streaming, so there.

I'm sorry, but from a hardware standpoint, the PSVita sh*ts all over the 3DS and if PS4 streaming to the PSVita will indeed work well, things will get very interesting on the Sony front. Not sure why you don't find the PS4's announced features amazing, but we must have a different scale of amazing.

Interesting, your PC has 8GB GDDR5 memory shared between the CPU and the GPU directly? Wow. How odd, since they don't make GDDR5 RAM modules for desktops. I'm feeling this odd sensation that you're bullshitting. By the way, touchpad, not screen and don't compare PC specs to console specs - I think it's pretty obvious why. Bonus points for grammar and spelling too. ;)

Bet you $100 I have more Nintendo guff than you do. Been with the company for a long, long time. :tpi:

I'm merely being objective - PSVita aside, you're downplaying a system which currently has the best specs on the market and already has an impressive launch title list even though it was just announced, if that's not subjective, I don't know what is.
