Hacking I need help on converting elf to dol.

I went to wiibrew and i downloaded the devkitppc (release 16)for windows off of the devkitpro site. I saw the video tutorial on wiibrew and the person in the video only has three files to work with in his devkitppc when i have hundreds. Does anyone know where the files that i need are located in the devkitppc folder?

i put the batch and the app in my apps folder on my sd card, i ran it and it seemed like nothing happened. Am i doing this right?

i went to see if it worked in the homebrew channel and nothing has changed even though i did everything i was supposed to do. Any other suggestions?
