I am putting together a 100% legal, all-inclusive, noobproof package to do the current virgin downgrade method (via IOS16),

but I need one piece I can't do myself.

tona's cIOS Patchmii Clone installer rev5:
http://wiibrew.org/w/images/4/44/Cios_patc...aller-rev05.zip
(source included)

I need a build modified that uses IOS16 for it's syscalls.
with this and a product davi92 provided, no illegal deeds will need to be done to downgrade.

please either post a link to the dol, or pm me.

cant wait to see this man

well, it's not going to be really "Better" than what we already have here on gbatemp, for 2 reasons:

you'll need to legally obtain:
"common-key.bin"
"IOS15........wad"

...on your own.
but, at least obtaining those legally is possible.
obtaining IOS16 legally is not possible for many people.
I'd argue that anyone covered by warranty technically has a "Right" to it,
but this will be a nice package to have

and hopefully, this will mean it can be openly posted on wiibrew as a legitimate, legal tool, ---which is the end goal.

it's not too exciting, but I hope to make a nice walkthrough with details about when to stop depending on what you're trying to achieve.

what's the point in this noob, when their is already ways to downgrade, which obviously ain't on wiibrew for many reasons etc..
suppose its "sort of" Legal

suppose its going to be simple.........but everyone would have either stayed on the firmware or would have downgraded by now...

of course whoever helps will get credit for their work everywhere that I post the package, not that that is a huge deal, but it's kinda neat.

I just can't complie. so waiting, and hopefully someone will post it here before too long.

I heard some people doing different things had trouble compiling this source though, if you experience that let me know, we can go all the way down to rev3 and it'll still work.

@dj

something to do,
plus some people are REALLY against breaking even dumb laws...
and some people probably still haven't downgraded, or will soon
"accidentially" upgrade

this just gives everyone another option.
